Minnie Mouse Inspired Makeup
Yoo-hoo! Today’s look is inspired by the legend that is Minnie Mouse
Minnie Mouse, Mickeys forever girlfriend/fiancé/wife (depending on what merch you are looking at!) and companion was introduced in 1928 and has remained a steadfast central character ever since. Minnie’s spotted bow is almost as iconic as her mouse ears and she is loved the world over. She received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018 and she is seen as fashion icon in her own right-after all Minnie ‘rocks the dots‘
So to pay homage to my favourite mouse I created this Minnie mouse inspired look.

The Makeup
First I created a good base with foundation and colour correcting concealer.
When I was happy with this I used Revolution’s Pro Contour palette for my contour and highlight. I also used a orangey colour and a brown from Revolution’s neutral’s eyeshadow palette
Next I painted on a thick winged line of eyeliner using black Snazaroo face paint. I used the face paint as I was also going to use it to create the bow.
To create the bow I started with the shape in red facepaint, when this was dry I then outlined it in black. I used a liquid lipstick for my lips whilst this was drying.
I then took some white snazaroo paint and the other end of a paintbrush and created white dots on both the bow and my lips.
Final stage was to apply fluttery lashes from Unicorn Cosmetics and there we are! My homage to Minnie Mouse!
Minnie Mouse Nail Art
First I painted my nails bar my thumb and ring finger red, I then painted the other two white.
When this was dry I then used a dotting tool to create Minnie Mouses dots/spots on the red nails. I did this in a regular pattern form of two lines.
For the ring finger I took a smaller dotting tool and did line of three dots to form Mickey head icons.
Finally for the thumb I took the dotting tool and created one larger Mickey outline. And that is it!
