Disney Nail Art-Stamping
By using stamping you can accurately represent your favourite films, tv shows and characters on your nails.
MoYou London and Mundo De Unas are great sources of stamping goodies.

Disney Nail Art-Freehand
Freehand Disney nail art gives you the freedom, if you have the skill, to create any characters or fandoms you would like on your nails.

How to create Disney Nail Art
If you are thinking about creating some Disney nail art below I give the step by step of how I created these 5.
A lot of these feature a mix of stamping and freehand which is a great way to get both accuracy and freedom.

Pain and Panic Disney Nail Art
- Hercules Stamping Plate-Mundo de Unas
- Stamping Polish, scraper and stamper
- Background Polish
- Purple polish
- Green polish
- White and black polishes and small brush for details
These two are sidekicks from the Disney Film Hercules. Pain is the purple monster on the green nail. Whilst Panic is green on the blue.
These nails were created freehand using Molten Metal polishes from Barry M. Whilst the words Pain and Panic were stamped using Mundo De Unas products. Don’t forget their tail detail too!
Mickey and Minnie Turn 92
- Dumbo Plate, Star 22 Plate-Mundo de Unas
- Stamping Polish, scraper and stamper
- Background Polish
- Red polish
- Yellow polish
- White and black polishes and small brush for details
First I used Barry M Cotton polish to prep the nails and created a gradient with Holo Taco’s Red Licorice.
For the little finger and index finger I used Mundo de Unas Dumbo plate to create celebratory images! I then used a gold flakie polish to highlight areas of the design. I also coloured in the party blowers with Red Licorice and Lemon Sucker (both Holo Taco).
The ring finger also features the gold flakie and Lemon Sucker hand painted on top.
For the middle finger I used Star Nails 22 plate (again Mundo de Unas) and reversed stamped Mickey and Minnie. I used the same polishes to colour them in before letting them dry and applying them to my nails as decals.
Poison Apple
- 2 similar but different red polishes
- Green polish
- White and black polishes and small brush for details
I started with a base of Barry M’s All The Things She Red Sunset polish.
I then created the drips of poison, the poison face and the poison apple using a thin brush and Molten Metal polish Holographic Moon.
The bottom of the apple was created using Molten Metal Fuschia Kiss. I then built up coverage in thin layers.
When dry I used a small amount of Gelly Hi Shine Cotton and Black Forest to create the highlight and shadow!
Ursula
- Little Mermaid Stamping Plate, Villian Stamping Plate-Mundo de Unas
- Stamping Polish, scraper and stamper
- White polish
- Black polish
- Purple
- Red and blue polish or paint and small brush for details
Bad girls have more fun!
I created these Anti Valentine-inspired nails using Mundo De Unas Little Mermaid and Villain Stamping Plates and Dystopia Stamping Polish. A touch of acrylic paint for Ursula’s face and a base coat of Fake Date from Holo Taco finished the nail art.
Colours of the wind
- Holographic background polish
- Small brush for details
- Paint which is the colours of the wind (pink, blue and white).
For this nail art I used the beautiful polish Leaves Turning by ‘Ard as Nails.
I created the leaves and wind effect on top using acrylic paint inspired by the scene in the film Pocahontas where she sings the ‘Colours of the Wind’. If you haven’t seen it it is just the most beautiful bit of animation!
