I am now so pleased to often press on nails, custom designed to you!
I have decided to start offering a range of custom press on nails featuring my nail art or swatches of beautiful polish.
Why have Press On Nails?
Lots of people choose to wear on press on nails for a variety of reasons perhaps a special occasion, whilst their nails grow or if they can’t attend a salon appointment for example due to lock downs! Maybe it’s something simple as lacking the skills to give your nails a manicure.
Press on nails can vary from the perfect colour to co-ordinate with an outfit to a truly wearable piece of art perhaps featuring characters or imagery you love.

What brands of nail polish do I use?
Where possible, I plan to focus on beautiful indie and UK brands which are cruelty-free and vegan as well as unique and limited edition polishes.

What is included with custom press on nails?
Each nail set will include 10 nails in your specified sizes with your specified colourway or design, painted and finished with Telle Moi Gel top coat, in a reusable pouch. Postage is included!
Due to the impact on the environment and for sustainability I won’t be including the usual mini glue, mini orange stick and mini nail file included with some sets and instead recommend you get full size versions.
Tools can be purchased in lots of places for nails from Poundland to more expensive kits from places such as Holo Taco’s website. I often find that the medium priced and upwards products are best and the best time to find these at a bargain price is just after Christmas-shops such as Superdrug really lower their stock prices to get rid of items and this is a great time to buy gift kits you could use yourself such as nail care items. UK indie polish websites such as Telle Moi also have a range of nail care items on their website which is worth a visit.
Press on nails are nail art pieces you can wear again and again rather than disposable products. I want to help you make the most of them so will be recommending products that really work and trialling glue brands for you! I’m very aware of the fact that fake nails/falsies/press ons or whatever else you want to call them are made from plastic so I want to work with you to ensure you are happy with your designs and can keep on wearing them again and again. For example whilst I will only supply 10 nails in the correct sizes for you if you lose one please contact me and I will do my upmost to help you.
What shapes can you get?
For my nail bases I am currently using By Vixi Press On nails as these offer flexibility in shapes and sizes as well as nails which are strong but flexible and comfortable to wear!

How do you know what sizes to get?
To figure out what size of nail you need why not try this hack?
Cut a piece of tape and apply to your nail, mark the edges with pen remove from the nail and measure the width!

Pricing
I hope to create an online sizing guide soon but I can also post a sizing guide with nail options to ensure a perfect fit. A sizing kit will include one of each nail size in the specified shape/length or I can send multiple options.

Pricing for the custom nails depends on the designs and products required and is individual to each set. Below is a loose guide to pricing with some previous designs in the ranges. These press on nails come in a resealable pouch and include postage costs.

How to order custom press on nails?
- Pick your sizes
- Think about your design and drop me a message.
- I’ll paint your designs and let you know when you can expect to receive them
- Receive them in the post
- Unpack happily
- Follow application steps
- They can last up to two weeks (if you are careful!)
- Take good care of them, clean and rewear! (tabs/tape etc should be removable so the products can be re-used. Glued nails are much less likely to be rewearable. There are no guarantees)

How to apply press on nails?
I have been busy reviewing nail glue products so will have a review post up soon!
Follow any instructions on your glue packet first and foremost!
- First of apply remove all nail polish leaving nails clean.
- Push back cuticles and neaten skin
- Then put glue on your nail and the press on
- Apply the nail by starting at the cuticle and then press down to the tips.
How to remove press on nails?
When you are finished wearing them follow these simple steps to remove!
- To remove turn your nail over and apply acetone remover with a brush around the edges
- Gently loosen with a clean orange stick or similar
- Repeat as needed. Do not push!
- File any hard glue off the back of the nails or apply a small amount of remover.
- Remove glue from own nails with remover.
- Leave press ons to dry, then store
Terms and Conditions
Whilst they can last up to two weeks on nails this is conditional to your treatment of them! Rough treatment can cause nails to flip off and breakages! I can take no responsibility for damage to the press on nails after delivery.
Incorrect removal or fiddling can cause breakages and damage to your natural nails
Whilst with careful wear then can reusable this again is circumspect to your treatment of them. I take no responsibility for damage to your natural nails from misuse.
Always follow the instructions on the glue! Be aware of allergies. I can take no responsibility for glue allergies or misuse of glue.
