Life’s a Beach Nail Polishes from Holo Taco
A look at Summer Nail Polish and Summer Nail Art created with the Life’s a Beach collection.
Updated August 23
The Life’s a Beach Collection from Holo Taco features 3 super summery colours. These complimenting colours open a world of possibilities to celebrate summer on your nails.
Beach ready polishes
The Floor Is Guava-a deep pinky shade
One Melon Followers-an orange peachy shade (discontinued)
Seafoam Home-a super pretty bluey green (discontinued)
These polishes are the perfect polish for summer nail art or even just summer manicures, as they look great together and separately. Like most of Holo Taco’s creme polishes, they have a super smooth finish and are opaque in 2-3 coats.
Holo Taco’s cremes work well in nail art and even stamping. Which makes these colours of polish super versatile. Holo Taco also have a range of other polish collections in different finishes such as linear holo and glitter
Life’s a Beach update Aug 2023
These three polishes were originally launched, without a collection box, in June 2021. Then sold as a bundle and individually. As of August 2023 however both Seafoam Home and One Melon Followers are now in ‘retirement‘. This means they are, currently at least, unavailable for purchase with no plans to return. Although they may be available from individual destash sales. The Floor is Gauva is still currently available on the Holo Taco website.

Nail Art
Check out some of the designs I have created using these punchy polishes below!
These simple designs keep summer at your fingertips.
How to create summer nail art
Watermelon nails
These started off with a base of Floor is Guava (ironically), I then used a thin brush with Sea Foam Home to create the rind. Finish off with a cocktail stick or dotting tool with some black polish to create the seeds.
Smoosh nails
These started with a base of Sea Foam Home, then on a silicone mat, I dropped small amounts of polish, quickly daubed them with a stamper, pressing lightly to ‘smoosh’ the colours together. This was then quickly applied to the nails before the polish dried.
Chunky gradient
I wanted each colour in the collection to still be obvious in this gradient. Starting over a base of One Melon Followers. Then sponging on Floor is Guava in the middle only. Letting it dry slightly and finishing with tips in Sea Foam Home.
Alternatively a sponge or brush with wet polishes together would create a more blended look.
How would you use these polishes? Let me know in the comments!
