Makeup Brush Collection

Sharing is caring!

What is your product weakness? Eyeshadow palettes? Nail polish? Mine is makeup brushes!

They are the purchase that I can always validate-they don’t go off, they are so cute and its always useful to have more!

Here are a few from my collection!

Eco Tools Brushes

Eco Tools have produced some of my favourite brushes ever and this is what I recommend to anyone in need of a good makeup brush! Here are two different sets a full face set with holder and a specialised blending set with the blue metal ferrule (on the left). Any Eco Tool brush I’ve picked up has been amazing so definitely these are a top choice.

Unicorn Cosmetics Brushes

These are the original Unicorn Brushes by Unicorn Brushes, often imitated but never matched. I love these soft and diverse brushes which come in a range of options. I have the original set and absolutely love them.

Makeup brushes from Primark

1.These are Mermaid style brushes from Primark. These are actually some of my favourite brushes as they are fluffy for soft edges and blending but still strong enough to get a good coverage of pigment!

    2. I love these soft face brushes which are perfect for foundation and concealer application with a velvet finish. The different style takes some getting used to and won’t work with every product so be aware.

    3. These heavy handled ‘wand’ brushes from Primark again show that Primark can make quality and fun products. Really love these.

    4. The rose makeup brush was bought just for looks and unfortunately I can’t review it as I have no plans to use it!

    Silicone brushes-no bristles!

These silicone ‘brushes’ from Avon are a great idea but don’t always work as expected! For example the edges and seems of the larger brush can hold product away from the skin and even scratch-not good! I’m also not a fan of silicone for blending, product is left just sitting on top of the skin. But they work well for getting every last drop of product out of the packaging!

    Bulk Brushes

These are different Mermaid brushes bought very cheaply online from eBay. I bought these as I needed a large collection for some work I was doing at the time.

Within the set are some great brushes for my needs but also some less useful shapes such as incredibly fluffy and square eyeshadow brushes.

Perfect for having a large selection for hygiene and clean brushes but unnecessary for the average makeup user!

Professional makeup artist with an interest in natural, complimentary makeup but also fun makeup designs and nail art too! Life is too short to be stuck with trends that don't suit you!
