Halloween Nail Art Ideas
Halloween Nail Art can be fun, simple and effective to create.
Spooky season is a great time to great some nail art! You can create a wide range of designs to help you on your way to spookily good time, whether you are experienced or not. There is also the chance to go adorable and cute or as scary as you wish.
If you are stuck on prompts for your nail art be sure to check out my list of ideas over on my other blog. Or if its spooky makeup you are after I have you covered here.
Easy Halloween Nail Art Designs
These designs feature spooky polishes and polish effects. As well as simple to use nail stickers and attachments.
Chrome polish creates a deep base for nail art stickers or just a dark mani. Try a duochrome or multichrome for even more magical looks.
Crackle effect polish, seen here in purple and black, can look super spooky. Think about how the under colour will show through for maximum effect. Halloween colour combos are a great idea here for example orange and black.
Halloween Nail Art Freehand designs
We are getting a little more complicated here than stickers but still doable.
These designs feature classic Halloween designs and icons created using freehand techniques from dotting tool monsters to fine line cobwebs.
Fine lines need tiny brushes. With a tiny brush and a bit of practice you will be able to create the fine nail art lines you want to!
For cuter, more cartoony designs, using a dotting tool and building up a design in round shapes (see the monster nails) is an effective technique!
Disney Characters and Villains
Getting more specific with theme. Nail art inspired by everything from Disney be that spooky park treats, rides or characters. This Halloween nail art is created with freehand techniques as well as stamping.
Spooky movies make great inspiration
Finally, these Halloween nail art are inspired by some of my favourite spooky movies! Distill elements of the movies into recognizable scenes or icons to easily represent your favourite films.
Colours play a big roll here for making you think of certain films and characters. For example black, white and green for Bettlejuice or blue for Coraline.
What nail art would you love to create or to see here? Let me know in the comments!
